The Striking Scorpions are coming along over the weekend, and I'm now in the detail stage which is fun but need patience to let everything dry between washes/highlights.
I'm doing a batch of 4 scorpions - for some reason I've left the fluro dude to last - he seems to be my mascot for painting the others at the moment, which means he'll get done on his own perhaps next weekend.
Still to do:

Still to do:
- Gold bits: final highlight of 1:1 mithril silver and auric gold
- Face: highlights of Adeptus Battlegrey and then Codex Grey
- Leather: highlight of Snakebite Leather
- Eyes/Jewels: all (Scab Red, Blood Red, Blazing Orange, dot of white)
- Sword/Pistol/piping: mithril silver highlight on sword teeth, "neon" highlights
For the neon, I picked up a bottle of Vallejo Fluro Pink on the weekend and will see what that turns out like. It is both my first Vallejo purchase, and the least likely to get much use :)
Lots of pics: enjoy.
1) Armour layering & highlighting done - ready for cleanup
2) After a clean up with some Abaddon Black - ready for all the detail-y goodness:
3) At this stage the Leather, Gold and sword teeth had all had the first layer of colour and a wash which was drying.
